After those 30 minutes on the ice, the realization hit me once again that my skating muscles were wickedly out of shape. My solution to that was to break out an Insanity workout this morning. Can't say I enjoyed it, but knowing that it helps skating is a goal and something more tangible (and more fun for me) than just getting better at doing high knees. I hate high knees.
The week is off to a good start, despite the blowing snow and icy roads. This East Coast girl is in for a rough winter it seems.
